An Islamic Da'iyah with over 18 years experience in the design and delivery of Islamic education & training programmes across the UK and Europe.

Along side many renowned scholars and specialists, Dr. El-Khateeb pioneered many Islamic youth leadership & development courses collaborating with organizations such as FOSIS, MCB, MST, UTRUJJ, NOESIS, AL-JUDAI FOUNDATION and FEMYSO. The amalgamation of his classical Islamic knowledge, received from various well respected scholars, with his contemporary higher-education learning and teaching techniques, makes his courses unique and attractive.

He has special interest in the revival of Quranic Tarbiyah, Tafseer, Seerah, Islamic Leadership and the unique raising and development of the  generation of the Companions.

He has been Head of Education & Youth at Leeds Grand Mosque since 2007, where he delivers a weekly "Reflections on the Quran" class with the aim of producing a modern comprehensive interpretation of the Quran in English. Former executive committee member of Forum of European Muslim Youth and Student Organisations (FEMYSO)
