Graduated from Nadwatul Ulama in 1950. He currently holds one of the highest Ijazahs (chains of transmission) in the world having studied books of Hadith under the expert Shah Haleem Ata (1893-1955). Shaykh Dr Syed Iqbal Ahmad Nadwi is one of the oldest living graduates of the prestigious Nadwatul Ulama.
