For many years you may have heard general talks on marriage, however, marriages are still falling apart. In the UK the highest divorce rate is amongst the late 20’s category and the average marriage lasts 11 years. The Muslim community has also seen a surge in divorces in recent times. Imams and community leaders up and down the country are complaining at the alarming rates of divorce in the community. Marriage is a very significant part of a Muslim’s life so it is with great wonder why happy marriages seem to be the exception rather than the norm. Marriages can be very fruitful and offer a lot if only we understood how to gain the most out of them. Marriage requires effort and hard work. People can often not realise the extent of their marital problems until it is too late to save them. The time has come to explore marriage in more deeper and meaningful way in the light of Islamic principles. This course promises to be a real eye opener! The course has been put together by a specialist in Islamic family law who deals with marital problems in the Muslim community. Thus, this course combines sound scholarly knowledge and advice with real life practical experience, making it very unique and effective.
